Yard Sale Splendour

After spending hours lusting after a new wardrobe, slowly getting more and more over the pieces in my possession it was decided that I need to cull. Considering my recent lack of funds it was time to see if I could make a bit of extra cash from the clothes I wasn't wearing.

So today was spent at my friend Sarah's house, selling pre-loved & almost new fashions to the people of Brunswick. Despite a wet and slow start to the day, the sun came out & we managed to make a few dollars and piece together a couple of outfits out of our garments for sale. I made $85 and had a great day in the process.. what a win of a Sunday!

STYLE FILE: Cassie Van, Vandalism- The Superhero of Style

In my 5 years being with a man in the Music Industry, I have had the privilege of meeting some incredible Australian and International Artists. I met Cassie a couple of years ago and immediately fell in love with her style, attitude and kind nature.

For those of you who don't know, Vandalism is a husband and wife, Electro House duo. Comprising of DJ/Music Producer Andy Van & Singer/Songwriter Cassie. With smash hits like 'Smash Disco', 'Never say Never' and 'Coming Alive'; it is not uncommon to see them on stage causing a riot anywhere from Melbourne to Ibiza.

Cassie has an incredible sense of style and really makes every outfit her own. She is a rock star in the best possible way and that confidence is something to be admired.

A Summer in the Ocean

As the days grow warmer everywhere else it seems but Melbourne, my mind drifts romantically to the beach holiday that awaits me this coming Christmas. All of a sudden my day dreams of lying in the sun, running across hot sands and diving into the waves comes to a crashing halt as I realise that I have not purchased swimwear for a year! With the Christmas budget strain already taking a firm grasp of my throat I am forced to once again find the cheapest alternative to the trends I'm lusting after.

Having checked out the WGSN forecast for Swimwear 2014/2015 I'm going to start this summer ahead of the curve. I present to you my inspiration, my findings and the cheapest alternatives I could find.
